WARRANTY POLICY FOR BICYCLES AND COMPONENTS
SLYWAY INNOVATION BY BONAZZOLI STEFANO
The Warranty
Slyway Innovation (“Slyway”) warrants, to the original owner (“you”):
- For every new Slyway frameset or bicycle that, unless otherwise specified in writing, the main frame, seat and steering components (fork, handlebar and stem) shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the original date of purchase.
- For parts, single components or accessories manufactured by Slyway (“Slyway Components”) that, unless otherwise specified in writing, shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the original date of purchase.
(together defined as the “Warranty”).
Components from Other Manufacturers
The Warranty does not apply to components or accessories produced by other companies. For warranty details of non-Slyway components, please contact the respective manufacturers directly.
When the Warranty Does Not Apply
The Warranty is valid only if the Slyway bicycle is used under normal conditions and properly maintained. We are not responsible for defects in the following cases:
- use of the bicycle after the defect has been reported;
- failure to follow the instructions for use and maintenance;
- defects arising from:
- normal wear and tear,
- neglect or insufficient maintenance,
- intentional damage or accidents,
- overloading,
- incorrect assembly,
- unauthorized modifications or repairs,
- failure to follow the user manual,
- improper use,
- UV fading or oxidation.
Other Warranty Limitations
- Applies only to bicycles and components built and invoiced by Slyway.
- Does not cover modifications or additions of non-Slyway components.
- Valid only for the original owner.
- Slyway reserves the right to decide at its sole discretion whether to transfer the warranty to a second owner.
The warranty applies to repaired or replaced parts but does not extend the original warranty period.
Not Covered Under Warranty
- bearings and bearing races,
- hardware,
- chainrings, cassettes, chains, shifters, derailleurs (front and rear), brake levers and brakes,
- wheels, tires, inner tubes,
- inner and outer cables.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you believe you have a warranty claim, please email info@slywaybikes.com
- Slyway may request detailed photographs or the return of the defective part (or, in rare cases, the entire bicycle).
- Labor, shipping and travel costs are the responsibility of the customer unless Slyway decides, at its discretion, to contribute.
- Do not authorize any paid work without prior written consent from Slyway.
Slyway will determine whether the defect is due to materials or workmanship.
Slyway reserves the right to repair or replace defective parts with equivalent components, which may not be identical.
If the issue is our responsibility, we will do our best to resolve it promptly and get you back on your bike.
